“Lord, when was it that we saw you hungry and gave you food, or thirsty and gave you something to drink?  And when was it that we saw you a stranger and welcomed you, or naked and gave you clothing?  When was it that we saw you sick or in prison and visited you?”

“Truly I tell you, just as you did it to one of the least of these who are members of my family, you did it to me.” (Matthew 25:37-40)

Trusting that each human being is made in the image of God, and that we may be most apt to encounter Christ in “the least of these,” our church is committed to reaching out to others, both in our local community and throughout the world.  We dedicate offerings of non-perishable food for the hungry every Sunday; we give to special offerings through the United Church of Christ (including One Great Hour of Sharing, Neighbors in Need, and the Christmas Fund); we participate in fundraising walks, clothing and Christmas present drives, mission trips, and much more.

Our Board of Mission and Stewardship is always open to new ideas of how to reach out to others in compassion and love.
