Mission & Stewardship

The Board of Mission and Stewardship works with many area organizations to plan and support missions throughout the year.  Here are just some of the many organizations we work with.

• One Great Hour of Sharing (UCC)
• St. Vincent de Paul Food Bank, Derby, CT
• FISH of Greater New Haven
• CCS (Compassionate Community Services)
• Church World Service
• Town of Bethany Human Services

We continue to collect food weekly for both FISH and CCS.  Below is a list of most requested items. Please place this list near your shopping list so that you can refer to it when you take a trip to the store. Thank you for your continued support in this ongoing endeavor.

Remember, you can bring your food donations to Sunday service with you where they will be collected along with the offering, or drop them off at the office during office hours.

Canned beans, baked beans, or pasta
Canned tuna or chicken
Peanut butter
Rice
Instant mashed potatoes
Pasta (one pound boxes)
Macaroni and cheese (box)
Cereal
Instant dry milk
Granola bars
Jello/pudding
