• February 2010 to April 2010 questionnaire Assistance Centers and Be Counted sites open to answer questions.
• March 2010 United States Postal Service delivers census questionnaires.
• April 1, 2010 Census Day-Send your questionnaire back!
• May 2010 to July 2010-Census takers follow up with households that did not return questionnaires.
• December 2010-U.S. Census Bureau delivers apportionment counts to the President of the United States.

Need Free Help with Your Taxes

Free income tax assistance is provided at the Janice von Beren Senior Center by the AARP Tax-Aide program for low to moderate income taxpayers of all ages, with special attention to those 60 and older. Call 203-393-2100 ext. 351 a certified Tax-Aide counselor will call you back so you can obtain additional information or schedule an appointment with them.

Dates are every Wed., Feb. 3 - April 14, 9:00 am - 1:00 PM.

Last appointment is 12:00 pm.

Stepping Stones Donation

I wanted everyone to know how well received our gifts were at Stepping Stones in New Haven. Thanks to all of you who sponsored one (or more) of the residents. I wish you all could have felt the excitement in the air as the gifts were delivered. I can't imagine how much more excited the kids will be when they find them under their tress.

I am attaching a few photos of the facility on Winchester Ave in New Haven. There is also one of the director's office filled with our presents.

I wish each of you all the joy and love in the New Year that you continue to give and share within our church. I know that my family received many prayers and much support this year and helped us. The best to you and your families as you celebrate the season.
